About the Founder: Ji-Soo Park

I founded Miel Software in 2025 after a 20-year career building software, both as a hands-on engineer and as a manager. I have built systems for trading desks at some of the largest investment banks in the world, and also raised the entire tech stack from the ground up at a five-person fintech startup.

I vicariously experienced the rise of AI while working at a large corporation that seemed in no hurry to accept or embrace the ongoing revolution in software development. I resigned and went my own way because I believe AI will shift the balance of power in favor of smaller firms.

Breadth of knowledge has always been a personal priority: my learning journey meandered from literature to computer science to business and economics. I believe that the diversity of my education and experience allows a wider perspective and uncommon insight into opportunities missed by dogma.
